Girls Just Want To Have Fun!!

Girls Just Want To Have Fun!!
by Anit Onnen

TODAY in sunny downtown Spokane, Washington, five older-than-40 girlfriends were seen laughingly romping through town, sometimes even dancing under the Nordstrom's escalator, by hairstylists, medical professionals, nuclear medicine technologists, graphic designers, java baristas, local library attendees, Main Street travelers, and oriental food establishment employees, obviously on sabbatical from their daily routines.

According to Bill Johnson at Inland Imaging, he said it was a day unlike any other. "It's not everyday five beautiful women voluntarily and happily sit in my office. I was struck by the good nature of all these gals. It's no wonder they were all friends regardless of the YA-YA movie they said they watched that bonded them together."

Bill explained that they came in as an entourage to be with the oldest who had a routine bone scan. He further stated, "It's not normal to have so many in one room, but that's because it's not normal for so many people to want to be with those who see us."

According to others like John, Harold, Dawn, and Cindy, they agreed with Bill, it was a day to remember. In unison, they all agreed they wished more days were filled with people who enjoyed one another.

So be on the look out for these gals who escape to do this once a month because they "deserve" it. You may first get a glimpse of them at some local coffee shop to get their motors running and then off they'll go, sunglasses on and driving threesome in the front seat and two in the back with a horn that sounds like a train, laughter that sounds like cackling hens, and conversation that is filled with glee because these girls don't just want to, they KNOW how to have fun.

Wow! Wow again! Great story was that us? I sure enjoy being with y'all..and that means even in public. I relished all of the experiences and would do it again. But next time I would come without a personal agenda. (If that is at all possible). Thank you for meeting Jacob and giving him the crutches at Mickey D's. Cyndi..how are ya darling? I sometimes wish I was more sensitive but other times I wish I could have been brave enough to have taken out my 44's and did her a favor. That is to open up her eyes and enjoy the comedy of 2 women trying to save a buck or two ..for goodness sakes! So how did the still picture go? Pretty well strapped down, huh Cheryl? Thank you all of the memories. Like that sign said in Tina's shop: Time is not measured by a clock but by moments. I had wonderful moments with you and am looking forward to another day.
